Tuesday, August 6 Introduction to NHA
This workshop employs a unique combination of presentation, practice and processing. We will present the NHA fundamentals with many examples from our teaching and personal lives. Throughout the day, we will practice NHA techniques with engaging activities that will ensure that you are ready to use them at home and at school. Finally, we will create space for you to reflect upon the NHA concepts and process your reflections with other participants. Kick off Your School Year in an NHA Way This workshop is for school staff who have taken our Introduction to NHA workshop or have learned NHA in another way. We will spend a little time reviewing NHA concepts, leaving the bulk of the day to get down to the business of what NHA looks like in YOUR space. We will facilitate collaborative activities that generate ideas around the following themes: Building Clarity through NHA, Building Community through NHA, Building School Climate through NHA & Building Inner Wealth through NHA-Related Literature. You will leave this workshop with viable plans for what NHA will look like in your space! |
