Right now I'm trying to recognize anxious moments when I begin to dysregulate with negative self talk, doubt or worry. For the short term (I'm not sure how long that will be), I am simply trying to notice the feelings. When I successfully pause to acknowledge “Ooh, there it is,” that is enough! It is enough for now because it is the start of my ability to grow a new habit.
